From The Kitchen at Remmington's Run!

We've been searching for a pizza dough that mimics the style of New York pizza... It's thin, it's soft and it's bendable!

Ingredients:

For the crust

3 Cups  Multipurpose Gluten Free Flour (we use Cup4Cup)

1 overflowing tsp instant dry yeast

1 Tablespoon + 1 teaspoon sugar

3/4 Tablespoon Sea Salt

1/2 cup warm water

1/2 cup almond milk (or your choice)

1 large egg

Assembly

1 Cup Pizza Sauce

2 Cups shredded Mozzarella Cheese

1 Cup shredded Parmesan Cheese

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Preheat your oven to 410°F for a  convection or 425 for a still oven.

  • In a mixing bowl combine all dry ingredients.

  • In a small bowl combine water, almond milk and egg. Whisk mixture until

  • combined and add to the dry ingredients.

  • Mix wet ingredients into the dry ingredients at first with fork and then with

  • your hands till well combined and able to form a ball of dough.

  • The consistency should not be too sticky. If you find it sticking to your hands

  • too much just add a touch more flour.

  • Take the ball of dough and tightly wrap in Press and Seal and put in the

  • fridge for at least 1 hour.

  • Once ready to begin making your Pizza take the dough out and cut in half

  • (the dough will make two pizzas).

  • Place crust on floured surface.

  • Using a rolling pin, shape the dough to the size of the pizza pan about 1/4”

  • thick.

  • Once crust is the size you desire, transfer to pizza pan.

  • Proof in a warm humid area of the kitchen for 30 minutes or until doubled in

  • size. (Cover with Plastic Wrap and a towel and place on the oven)

  • Spread the sauce then cover with cheese and your choice of toppings. Place

the pizza pan in the oven and bake for 16-18 minutes.

  • Enjoy!
